Asia-Pacific Association for Machine Translation (AAMT)
President: Hisahiro Adachi
AAMT 2026, Nara General Chair: Toshiaki Nakazawa
Dear Sir or Madam,
We hope this message finds you well. We are deeply grateful for your continued support of the activities of the Asia-Pacific Association for Machine Translation (AAMT).
This year, the AAMT is celebrating its 35th anniversary. To mark this milestone, we will hold our annual conference under the theme "AAMT 2026, Nara: New Co-evolution of Translation and Humans in the Age of LLMs". The International Track will be held on Sunday, September 13, and the Domestic Track on Monday, September 14, both at the Todaiji Cultural Center in Nara. The conference will be held in a hybrid format, combining in-person attendance with simultaneous online streaming.
Our annual conference is the largest event in Japan for those interested in machine translation, bringing together industry, academia, and related organizations. Last year's hybrid conference attracted a combined total of 193 in-person and online participants. As in previous years, the in-person program will include an open-call poster session of approximately one hour that is held alongside the exhibition booths, providing meaningful networking opportunities for attendees. (In-person attendance is capped at 100; online attendance at 500.)
We are now seeking companies and organizations to sponsor this conference. We offer Diamond, Gold, Silver, and Student Invitation sponsorship tiers, each with its own set of benefits.
We sincerely hope you will share our vision for this event and offer your generous support.
Yours faithfully,
